I’m Will Melones, and I mix records for super-talented artists. Located just outside of New York City, I offer online mixing for artists all over the world. My goal is to make your songs rip through the speakers. To ensure that every drop of emotion and artistry that you’ve written is translated to your fans.
I got my start playing in punk bands and producing local artists in my home state of Maryland. After graduating from Berklee College of Music, I relocated to New Jersey to begin working in the NYC music scene and happened to land my first sync placement on the Fox primetime series Empire.
To put it in one long sentence, I’ve recorded live performances for Cartel and Marty Friedman (Megadeth), mixed post-production sound for Paper Mill Playhouse and Tony nominee Paul Gordon (Dionne Warwick, Alanis Morissette), engineered numerous film and TV scores for composer Marcelo Zarvos (Ray Donovan, The Affair), and contributed to the recording and mixing of the Words on Bathroom Walls soundtrack with Andrew Hollander (Carly Rae Jepsen, Lea Michele) and the Chainsmokers.

Having mixed everything from independent artists to feature film soundtracks, I’ve learned that enhancing the meaning behind a song is the key to making it move the listener. I’ve seen that a professional mix is a necessary ingredient in getting your music ready for big streaming numbers, sync opportunities, and a larger audience in general. I can give you the major sound you need to be competitive in today’s music industry, even on an indie budget.
